Inspired by the beach I live on this pendant embodies the energy and power of the sea. I'm so lucky to live on such a beautiful coast and get to walk to the shore every day. That love really flows into my jewellery and I try to capture its essence in textures and colours.
I took a piece of recycled sterling silver as the base and then layered on textured waves in silver, copper and brass to create a gorgeous mixed metal piece. I then hammered in some tiny gulls and finished off by bezel setting a solid Australian Opal which glows with green and pink fires. Is it the sun or the moon? That's up to you.
