The first 'butterfly' that I saw this spring, resting by my pond, was actually a Common Blue moth!
Inspired I wanted to add a splash of blue to my design.
Hand woven from undyed and blue 100% cotton 3mm thickness macrame thread. With wooden beaded detail and combed fringe. Mounted on a foraged driftwood branch.
